Lauren Forziati

Lauren is a first time body building competitor. She will compete in the women's figure novice and open categories in the Organization of Competitive Body Building's "Spirit of America" competition in Plymouth, Mass. on Saturday, April 18, 2009.

Lauren has been training since January 1, 2009. She has made a lot of sacrifices along the way and has worked very hard.

April 18th is fast approaching. Two journalism graduate students from Boston University's College of Communication will follow her progress leading up to the competition and will also cover Lauren's big day!

The students have also set up a twitter account. They will provide frequent updates and will twitter from the competition for up-to-the-minute reports. Lauren will weigh in on her progress through occassional tweets as well!
