Bodybuilder Food

Lauren walks us through some of the eating and supplement taking habits she has had to maintain in order to get her body "cut" (slang for getting lean) for the big event. The final four days prior to competition Lauren consumed no carbohydrates. On the day we visited with her, she was eating only 1,000 calories, consisting of egg whites, asparagus, protein power and water (that she called a "shake")and fish. She kept hydrated with a gallon of water spiked with Extend. This was all in an attempt to completely drain her body of fluid that would make her body appear bloated.
